Planet Zoos second Chicken Breed/probably the only Animal that can be properly faked with the Color Cheat

I randomly thought about this earlier today, so I've tried it and it works absolutely perfect.
I proudly present:
The Ayam Cemani

Quick Reminder: you need to rename them every Time you load the Game (clicking on the Name and pressing Enter is enough) and also when a juvenile Animal turned into an Adult because they will revert back to their normal Color when they change their Model.
For anyone who forgot: the Cheat Name is DaveyT#000000
Just rename your Sussex Chickens to that and they will change their Breed to the Ayam Cemani 😃
I'm so glad that I came up with that because it's such a nice Addition to the Game.
Please let me know if there are other Animals I don't know of yet, that can be perfectly faked with that Method

This is a really fun cheat! It even works on Console (you can't rename animals in franchise, but sandbox works), so it is kind of like mods on console, very neat. Reminds me a bit about early ZT1 mods, where the palette file was changed and bam it's a new species.

You can change the colour into any 6 hex digits, up to DaveyT#ffffff, so it is pretty versatile, with darker colours seeming to look nicer. You can also use it together with the MeggieB cheat to make balloon animals if you're so inclined (though some look they could be workable as species like California Sea Lion).

Japanese Macaque as a stand in for Celebes crested Macaque comes to mind, maybe Sand cat as a stand in for Domestic Black cat, Melanistic Malayan Tapir, Male Black Lemur using Red Ruffed. Black female Proboscis monkeys also look a little similar to Black Spider monkeys.

Sadly it doesn't seem to work on Exhibit Animals. Escaping and being captured also resets the skin (it can also reset their name)

I went through what's available on console, these ones retain some original colour (I'm guessing there's 2 layers, this cheat overriding the bottom layer):
  • Zebras, Cheetahs, Tigers, Clouded Leopards, Snow leopards, Grey Seals, Lynxes, Gharials, Spectacled Caimans & Painted Dogs keep their black parts
  • Nyalas, Male Nile Lechwe, Skunks, Fallow Deer, Okapi & Collared Peccaries keep some white parts
  • Spotted Hyenas & Giraffes keep their spots
  • Nile monitors keep their green parts (most of the body)
  • Sun bears & Giant Otters keep their chest pattern
  • Komodo dragons have some speckles

That's weird. Works in the PC Version. Should definitely be reported as a Bug

it can also reset their name
Definitely also a Bug and doesn't happen in the PC Version too. At least never experienced it

Also, thanks for the List. Interesting that some of them keep specific Colors. Maybe something can be done with that.
A Shame that MeggieB blows up the Body completely instead of just making the Fur/Feathers fluffier. Otherwise I would have tried if Silky Chickens would've been possible

Made a Info Sign for it. Just don't know why the Picture has such a lower Quality than the one from the previous Picture.
Didn't even look so weirdly bright when I've tested it in the Game, so maybe they've fixed the Billboards?

Edit: wait. What's that weird Mistake? Why is all of Asia marked now?🤦🏻‍♂️
Oh man. Why is the Binturong Distribution marked as all of Asia when it is correctly depicted in the Zoopedia?🤦🏻‍♂️

The education boards have always displayed the entire continent for animals despite how large or small their range is. Could be because some animals like the komodo dragon would be near impossible to read on the small map.
Remembered this afterwards. Hope if we'll get a Sequel, they'll do it different in that one
