Planetary Annihilation - Another Kickstarter Success

Any RTS fans here? Looking for something to fill the void while waiting ED... I just wanted to bring your attention to Planetary Annihilation if you haven't heard of this yet.

Me and 3 friends used to play a lot of C&C, red alert 2, C&C generals in the past.

PA is the daddy all of all RTS, we haven't had this much fun with multiplayer in a long time.

It was another successful Kickstarter and the current build is in gamma (It's very playable, already feeling very polished bar some of the buggy lobby menus). But yeah, I'm highly recommending this one. I am fairly confident in saying this will go down as one of the greatest RTS's in history.

I was seriously considering buying this on steam , but when I checked the forums they were saying to wait as it was lacking content.

will keep an eye on it for sure.

I bought it and played it.
I would advise to wait for the finished product.

Personally I am an avid Supreme Commander Forged Alliance fan. I was hoping to find the same kind of experience in PA, but as far as I am concerned the game is far too chaotic as it is now.
I really enjoyed doing battle in Supreme Commander FA against AI, and the pacing of the game allowed for it.
At the moment I miss this in PA. I cannot enjoy the battles. The spherical battlefields make it hell to keep an overview and as far as I am concerned the visuals are still much to simplistic. Also I love the base building in SUpCom. I do not like it in PA.

This is of course just a personal judgement, but I like SupCom-FA much, much more than PA.
I wish someone would create a true sequel to Supreme Commander Forged Alliance that just builds on the perfection that is already present.
