Planetary Assault

Since we can't target ground objectives from our ships, why can NPC's do that.
Please Frontier, remove the ability grom NPC's to shoot down our SRV's or even noticing them. When in SRV i wpuld like to assault the base without a rain of railguns and PA's perfectly aimed :|
Also they shouldn't be able to track our SRV's so that we can drive away at around 10-15km and than recall our ships.

We can't do that, they shouldn't be able to.
This way, i would do more ground base assaults because it would be doable at the end. Right now it is impossible. Even when doing it in wing it becomes very crazy fast. The security ships spawn endlessly and the wingmates can't trigger aggro of all ships at once and so the rain of rails and PA's start again down to the SRV's. And once the ships are triggered, the SRV's will never leave the planet alive.
Since SRV's aren't telepresence controled, it doesn't make much sense either :)

So please remove their ability to target ground vehicles like you did it to us to make it a fair play again [up]

You can actually shoot things on the ground. You just can't target them. Anyone good with fixed weapons could hit you, and NPCs are godlike with rails. They could also use explosives, then they just need to hit the ground. All things you can also do.

But it's not intended and that's why Frontier removed our ability to target ground things. Eyeballing wouldn't work well on an AI which is why i ask for complete removel of this ability.

And beside this, i have never seen someone dropping bombs on their own base just because someone stepped in. It's a job of ground troops^^ and attacker of course drops bombs. What does he care about the base itself? But the owner should care about it^^

No, they removed our ability to target so we wouldn't slaughter planet things with our ship, but we're still allowed to do it with our eyeballs.
