Horizons Planetary Base/City/Outpost Symbols

Hey everyone :)

I've been trying to find a planetary city I've been to yesterday or the day before called filters pride is it looked very beautiful, but I can't find it anymore.
While trying to find this base/city I noticed that I've got no idea at all how the different versions of planetary settlements are called. Are there specific terms for each of the type of settlements? So far I've only seen the ring type base, the smaller base with landing pads and the base without landing pads.
The other thing I noticed is that the set of symbols used in the system map differs from the symbols used in the planetary map, does anyone know which symbol is used for what type of base?

Regards :)

Hey Rebel, focusing only on ports with docks - Using the maps, there is no way to tell if it is a planetary outpost or the larger circular city style port . Only way to find out is to actually visit the port.

Stations and outposts allow you to search for them by name, unfortunately planetary ports are not searchable. There are only two types of symbols, one for ports with docks, the other is for settlements. The settlement size can be determined by the number of + signs next to the symbol.

Hey, 777Driver, thanks! :) I always thought the number of + signs would tell you how high the security would be at those settlements

Security level is separate. You can see it on your left navigation panel. You can have a small settlement with high security, or a large settlement with low security.
