Horizons Planetary hostage missions bug ?

Hello,

I have accepted a mission where I must liberate 8 hostages from a system. During the mission description, they said that is on surface and a SRV is require and I'll need to scan the nav beacon or use the scanner.

After arrived at the system, I use my Advanced Discovery Scanner and then I got a new message indicate me on which planet is it.

But now, I'm on the surface of that planet, I visited like 30 or 40 POI to try to locate the hostages without success.

My question : How can I complete that mission ? Why I don't have some coords or more details about the place ? I don't know what to do...

Thanks

Ok, just found that on the surface, the left hand panel is "updated" with the crash location. That could be cool to have the "location" on the surface map like it is for settlements.

And a manual/guide who describe all kind of mission :)

I'm having this same problem. When I arrive at the location on the planet's surface it's a "crash site", and there's never anything there except for a cargo rack (usually has some minor ore in it) and two crafting materials laying amidst the ruins. I've gone to nearby POI's and never found any sign of the hostages. Does this particular mission type just not work, or am I missing something?

Here's some screenshots showing what I mean.

Arriving at hostage liberation "wreck site":

Rolling over to it - 3 contacts show up:

None of the contacts are "hostages":

I'm not sure where these hostages are supposed to be, but they don't appear to be at the wreck site the mission is guiding me to, nor at any of the nearby POIs I pick up on wave-scanner.

This is also not the first time I've had problems with this particular "set piece" (the art used for this crash site). A few days ago I was tasked with recovering ceramic composites from a site using this same wreckage art and none of the three objects there (two crafting materials, one cargo rack) were it.
