Planetary landing display

So I'm contemplating making a Bug report for this but I thought I would get some comments on the issue first.

The Planetary landing HUD.

It's depth is positioned outside the cockpit. In literally every cockpit, the metal support beams of the cockpit are closer than the HUD but the HUD is drawn on top. This Landing HUD needs to be moved closer to the viewer so it appears inside the cockpit.

All of the other HUD when flying is inside the cockpit and looks great. For some reason (just looks like an error in placement) the planetary landing HUD is located so far away from the viewer that it conflicts with the depth of the cockpit. Annoys me every time I come in to landing.

This really annoying anyone else?

I see it as an augmented reality object inserted into you eye. Doesn't bother me too much.

Don't notice this issue on my asp and eagle
 
I think this might happen in a real HUD system. The focus point is outside, but the projection is actually inside.
With real HUD systems, the projection screen shines up on the canopy glass and is seen as a reflection which looks like it is further away.
In a small cockpit, the effect you see is what you would get. I can only assume, in this case, that the cockpit glass sits just inside the framework.

The thing that bugs me a little about the landing HUD are the two "tape" displays each side of the pitch ladder - one should show altitude and the other velocity (not going into the IAS topic ;) ), not pitch angle, as that's what the ladder is for.

BTW - tape displays are the things that look like |-----\
....................................................................|-----/ on each side of the pitch ladder with a number inside (apologies for rubbish text drawing skills).
