Is there somewhere a "how do you do it" on planetary prospecting? I've read through several, and found the prospector's guide, but they all seem to assume you know basically how to find resources on the planet surface to begin with? I've tried driving around randomly following the lower band on the planetary radar...nothing. I've tried flying around to find the blue circles and keep on coming up with other people's mining stations and the like.

Follow-up question -- when I use PgUp/PgDn to zoom my sensors in and out, they seem to move very little. In the video this guy is able to move his indicator all the way from left to right. Is this as sensors grade feature, or some optional/key-binding feature? It would be a lot easier to pinpoint targets if I were able to zoom out as far as he does.
