Planetary Raw Materials

Is there a reason no rocks are showing up in my SRV scanner to blast for planetary materials?
Did something change with Odyssey?

They do occur, but there seem to be far fewer than in EDH.

Maybe we would have more rocks today if y'all STOPPED SHOOTING THEM!

Funnily enough I tend to feel they are more common, keep in mind sometimes you need to wait a few minutes for them to generate properly, in EDH is was quite possible to drive by them and see nothing then find them on the way back to the ship, so you may actually be outdriving the auto-generation range, I think for the most part they are instanced resources.

They are instanced, and show start appearing within a minute of landing.
I've not found a single one on a high metal planet after 25 minutes of searching.
