I believe it would be nice addition to have non persistent POI's generated inside planetary rings similiarily to those on planetary surfaces.
One could encounter ship wrecks with or without small amounts of cargo floating around, maybe all kinds of small installations, mining, military or some other kind, probes, beacons. etc.
Those should be rather rare, consodering the size of the rings, but I think it might make flying inside rings more interesting, whether as a miner, or not.
I often feel like visiting those rings because of the views and atmosphere. A chance to encounter anything other than a ship spawned on instance initialization could make things little more exciting and help to make up a personal story.
