Horizons Planetary scan job, confused.

Pick up scan job from faction I am friendly with, description is that the site is owned by the faction giving the mission (this is important) something about they have been having malfunctions and want a scan done.
There is n NO warning that this activity may be illegal etc etc

Go to planet

find site, land, deploy SRV

approach site, TRESSPASS WARNING! what?

Get scan done but get a bounty in the process and start getting shot at.. Mission complete message comes through.

Return to station to turn in mission... cant because wanted with the faction that gave me the mission for trespassing at the mission location.

Turn self in, go to jail, come back and turn in mission successfully.


I don't think its supposed to work this way.

Hey wingnut,
1. Do not hand yourself in. Instead go to a low security system and pay off your bounty with an intergalaxtic factors contact. Much easyer.
2. I roleplay what the faction want. There base is fully automated and need a pilot to break in and scan what is wrong. So you are doing illegal stuff. Kind of setting off alarms in a burglar for hire way....
3. Then i pay off my fines as in number one to smooth over any “misunderstandings “
