Planetary Stations - Plot route not available

Hello Friends, hoping somebody can shed some light on this subject for me as i'm still relatively new to ED Horizons but this in particular is getting on my nerves;

I was planning on a trade loop with a planetary station, made a jump through super-cruise to the system but then the station was not listed in the navigation panel for target destination. I ended up travelling onto a nearby station in the same system and then made a landing. Next, I located on the galaxy map the missing planetary station, selected target (fine) but was unable to click plot route as it highlighted that no route available which was stange as it was within the same system and only a matter on LS away!

Is there any in-game/further restrictions i.e. with rank, status etc with these planetary stations.....this one in particular was the Anderson Barracks in system Tz'utuls (military economy), and the controlling faction I have a friendly relationship with (Barbera Crew)!

Any help or feedback would be appreciated, thanks again.

You should be able to navigate to a planetary station same as you would for orbitals. If you are in the right system, but the base is not showing on your navigation panel, I'd suggest paying a visit to (and scanning) the system nav beacon. This will fully populate your nav list with anything thats missing as well as all of the various signal sources (USS).

If you're using the system map to select destinations, and your in that same system, you can only use the "select" option rather than the "route to" option. Not sure why. If navigating from within another system "route to" should work, however I have found that to be bugged sometimes.

Only in-game "restriction" for planetary stations is landing pad size. Even if there is no pad sufficient size for your ship, you should still be able to navigate there, you just won't be able to dock.

if you're clicking stations already in system it marks it but does not plot a route. you're basically targeting the station and fly to the planet it is located on it will display on hud.

A few suggestions:

1. Make sure you launched Horizons, not the base game (as that is what it sounds like from your description). ;)

or

2. Drop into the Nav Beacon (in real space) and target the beacon, wait for "system data downloaded" message... Look in Nav Panel for the station.

or

3. FSS-zoom the planet, let scan finish, approach planet, select station.

Good luck.

All done guys, yes i did'nt realise at the time but i could'nt plot a route in galaxy map at the time as i was sat in a station in the same system. Thanks for pointing this out.
