Good news - FLAC versions are included in the soundtrack!

To access the soundtrack (once you've got the latest update), right click Planet Coaster in your Steam Library and go to Local Files then Browse Local Files. There's a Soundtrack folder that'll include the mp3s and FLAC files.

Cheers

Hello, I bought this game in December 2017, and there is no "soundtrack" folder or any audio file in the Planet Coaster Steam folder.

It seems like you deliberately removed the soundtrack from the game files in order to incite people to buy it, even though they've actually purchased the game... Hopefully I'm wrong.

Any explanations on this Frontier?

Hello GodPetrucci,

Here's the explanation for the missing soundtrack;

The soundtrack was not deliberately removed from the game folder. The soundtrack folder will only be available for players who have bought specific editions of the game that were sold before November 17, 2016, the official release date of the game. These editions have since been removed from sale. These editions include the Planet Coaster soundtrack;
  • Planet Coaster Early Bird Edition
  • Planet Coaster Deluxe Edition
  • Planet Coaster Thrillseeker Edition

Since you've bought the game in December 2017, you haven't bought any of these editions and as such the soundtrack folder is not included in the game folder. Steam only downloads the soundtrack folder if you have the so called "Planet Coaster - Official Sountrack" DLC which is not for sale but is applied to all accounts that have the Thrillseeker Edition.

All of the editions above were more expensive than the standard edition of the game. You can buy the Planet Coaster soundtrack separately on the official Frontier Store here: https://www.frontierstore.net/eur/merchandise/planet-coaster-merchandise.html

The soundtrack is also available on Spotify, Apple Music / iTunes, Google Play and on the official Planet Coaster YouTube channel.
