Planetoid searching

My only suggestion at this point. Your out exploring, doing you the way you do. Jump, honk, scoop, repeat. Lets get folks to pay more attention to bodies. I propose a specialized sound. When you detail scan a body, if there is something anywhere on the surface that is not natural (man/alien made) then the scanner emits a particular notification. It doesn't tell you what it is, or where it is, just that there is something on the surface that is not of natural origin. This will get folks to slow down and take the time to scan bodies with an advanced scanner. Not available on basic scanners. And then, if a notice pops up, they will spend more time landing or low passing to find what may be down there.

So basically something like Mass Effect did in ME2 or 3. Makes sense to me.
I think fdev have changes coming for exploration, so guess it'll be on their to do list

I certainly hope so. Ive never played the other games you mention, but I'm way out here and it can get real grindy randomly picking a rock to land on and drive around or even fly around slow and low to see if anything is there.
