Planetside coordinates....here's how to make it easy....

So...you're chatting to your mates and one says "awww dude you gotta see this....insert amazing planetside thing here"...

So he gives you the coords and planet/moon location and off you pop knowing that you're going to be spending a good 10 mins flying around watching the long-lat numbers go higher or lower and juggling those angles trying to zero in.

But....now open ya minds real wide for this one....what if...you open the local system map...zoom in on the moon/planet...yknow the one, the one where you can spin that spherical doohickey around...and in the bottom corner of the screen it has that specific bodies coords right there on the screen for you!!?

Huh huh!!

Then once you've found your magic location, pop a marker then that would work in the exact same way as travelling down to a barnacle or thargoid site or planetside base etc.

Easy as that!!

Talk about QoL son!! Drops mic...wanders off.

Planetary markers would be an excellent addition, even if they were only temporary for the session of play, having said that, 10 minutes to get to a coordinates is a long time but I guess with all things it improves with practice, a couple of minutes at most on a small planet is enough for me, but I'm a special case I guess, I do a lot of that stuff but when I first started playing it was a pain indeed.

There are many people who rarely visit bodies or just want to visit this one spot, I hope FDEV can at least give us one relocatable marker each, even just the one would be a useful addition.
