You might have noticed that the Mischief Mile didn't start this weekend...

That's because I'm hoping Buckyball Run 9 will take place this coming week. I'm still expecting The Kessel Run to start on 31 October (I just need to double check with Stern Winter!). The Mischief Mile is then provisionally scheduled for the warm up slot at the end of November.

Just applying a fresh coat of wax to my new Clipper, engines singing like a bird.

The Sag A* convoy is pencilled in for Thanksgiving weekend (26-29 November), which may keep a few regulars busy, and I am away 21-29 Nov. So can we start the Mischief Mile the first weekend of December? Or slip it to the first new year warm-up slot? I could also extend the course and make it a 2 week full race.

I'm trying to get the Buckyball Racing Club registered as an officially recognised player group (thanks robinjb for reminding me!). In line with that, I've created a new thread in the Player Groups section to use for discussing our race plans, advertising, etc. So please head over there to continue discussions on how to sort out the schedule, and get a bit more advertising going :).

Thought this is the best place for this comment. Really enjoyed the courses we do. For some of them, is it possible to rerun some of these races after time has passed? Many classic races are annual

There's also this thread ..

https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php/193467-Buckyball-Racing-Club

.. which is more active although BRC related but I don't see why that necessarily needs to exclude EZ's races.

As to re-running old races, there's a few that I've thought should remain open as a standing challenge (a bit like Sag A*). In particular I always thought the Wasat A2 E Buggyball should be on ongoing challenge. I'm also going to be staging Total Recall 2 at some point as I think that format has a lot of mileage (kilometerage?) left in it and I've got some absolutely kick-ass new settlements prepared. Oh, and for non-buggy racing, "Turbo Hour" and "Missing Comet" were another couple of singular events that deserve another go. Oh, and of course there's the annual Kessel Run.

Edit: And all of EZ's races natch :D

Thread necromancy, lol. :)

EZ also seems to like the idea of his BBR-9 "trans-bubble" route being a standing challenge, he's mentioned it a couple of times. Although starting from Obsidian would probably be more challenging as the approach to Garden Enterprise was quite tricky.

A nice 500ly "sprint" :)
