Planning what systems to prepare is pointless. CC value changes every day.

So we Hudson supporters were planning what systems to prepare for a WEEK before hand so ppl dont just prepare pointless systems with negative values.
till yesterday it was all good and high value system were chosen. today all the systems we picked gone down. 180+ systems went to 5 cc just like that

No point of strategically choosing systems before hand now.. its chaotic

was it mention any where that system`s value changes by a 100+ cc in a day ??

Our home faction went from 88% to 37%, a competing faction increased its influence by doubling it to be the dominant faction and force an election for control of the system on us.

I believe CC is calculated through influence of supporting factions in a system based on population size.
Has the influence of Fed factions changed in the systems you were monitoring?

But in 7 days it didnt change.. why now ? few hours before the cycle flips. Suddenly all the systems we picked gone to almost worthless values. thats what i dont understand. these systems are in an empty space away from most factions.
is it possible that someone contested all these systems in the past 8 hours ?

Each system claims cc from it's surrounding exploited systems. What's happened is that some of the 180cc systems exploited systems are now being exploited by another system or power. As each system can only be exploited once, the amount of cc for your chosen system has dropped.

So there is no point of pre planning.. coz all systems will change value after the cycle flip ?

Yes and no. If you're certain about how the next cycle will develop, yes. Otherwise the cycle flip may change your plans. That's the drawback of a weekly cycle I guess.
