Plasma weapon possible bug ?

I am doing some testing with plasma weapons and I found out odd problem with other wepons like pulse laser when using with it.
My ship an FAS has one 1 hard plasma with 3 other pulse lasers, and it makes the pulse lasers to interment stop working for a few seconds for no reason, have all full bars with energy ( weapons, thrusters, systems ), and have absolute no heat. If I remove the plasma from the fitting everyting works fine.
I have no idea on what is going on, I even tried to decreise the priority of the plasma weapon, same results.
Even trying to disable the plasma weapon gave me the same results, pulse stops to work for a few seconds.
Is this a bug ? Or maybe there is something I dont know about plasma weapons like you should never use it with other weapons ?
 
It's possible it's a bug because there was a similar bug with the anaconda hard points before. That bug I remember was caused by putting a large pulse laser into the huge slot, are you possibly trying to put a medium plasma into the large slot? I would try using 2 medium pulse, 1 large pulse, 1 large plasma, (if you are not already) and see if that loadout works.
 
I have the same issue on my FAS. After I fire my PA's, my pulse laser will not fire for a few seconds. I've always found it quite odd, seeing as my capacitor wasn't empty and I had 4 pips to weapons.
 
Weapons mysteriously "not firing" is often the issue that tawittle referred to above. eg, on the 'conda if you put a "large" weapon in the "huge" hardpoint, the weapon isn't "tall" enough or "long" enough to have enough clearance from the hardpoints base that it isn't shooting through part of your ship when firing forwards. Therefore fixed (and gimballed unless you're pitched up far enough that none of your other weapons will bear on the target) large weapons in that hardpoint never fire. In the 'conda and FDL, if you're not mounting a huge weapon on the huge hardpoint you're probably not going to shoot anything with what you put there unless it's a turret. (I have no experience with the other ships that carry huge hardpoints, so no idea if this is true for them)

It's not beyond the bounds of possibility that a similar problem may exist for other situations where the weapon mounted is "smaller" than the hardpoints rating.
 
I've come across this issue some time ago but in the end I decided that the hardpoints are located so far back that the hull can easily get in the way of the laser beams, and in the heat of battle it only seemed like caused by the plasma acc.

Thats interisting. I tried to swap the plasma into the lower slot and now its working fine... I am not sure on what happens...
An friend told me that the position of the big cannon at the botton of the ship bugs the other two medium cannons, if it cant shot, it prevents the other two to shot...
