Plasticine Animals

I know these creatures are not dinosaurs but hey, the game is set to take place in a North American environment and it would seem empty to not have them in the game.
The Plasticine animals are, Mammoth, smilodons and Short Faced Bears and several more extinct animals from the Plasticine Period.

Do you mean "Pleistocene"?

Planet Plasticine Zoo Dangerous Evolution

Jurassic fans don't tend to like the idea, Planet Zoo fans are down right hostile to it.

If it's something they really want to do, they'll do it, but for the moment it seems like they're contented with reptiles. Dinosaur body plans are somewhat similar to mammals & birds, more similar than lizards, so it might be on the table eventually, it's hard to say.

Have they actually ever said that? And not just some "we're not planning that at this time" sort of answer, but confirmed beyond a doubt it isn't happening?
Several times. Mammals and fish are not part of the Jurassic canon. Dominion is branching out into synapsids and early reptiles, who have also appeared in earlier Jurassic media, but there has never been a mammal or fish/shark in the canon.

Really? ...I've honestly never seen them say such a thing before... and it wouldn't really make sense to maintain such a stance, since lots of things not in the Jurassic canon have appeared in these sorts of games...

Cloned mammals in canon predates the movies, there's a cloned miniature elephant in the first novel. There's also a cloned human in the film canon. Neither are prehistoric, but they were made.

Camp Cretaceous showed us a Wooly Mammoth carcass, JP1 had a Smilodon toy, Fallen Kingdom had a Smilodon skull in the background. It can be inferred these things existed, not getting DNA from stuff this young in the JP universe would be pretty pathetic.

It's up to Universal to say no at the end of the day, and them caring about anything apart from quality of the creations seems unlikely (even then it's clearly a bit flexible).

All in all, I still think it's an unlikely direction for Frontier to want to go (Fur seems like something they're trying to avoid for old gen consoles sake), so it'll just end up as part of the modding scene again.
