Platform exclusivity sucks.

Because of this ridiculous marketing strategy, I will never get to play Ace Combat 7, as I'm not going to buy a console just for the one game. [mad]

Anyone else here who really dislikes platform exclusivity?

I don't like platform exclusivity as a concept, but I also don't think that any of the console exclusives are of any interest to me.

Granted, most aren't to me either.

Only two exceptions I can think of are Forza, as you already know, and Ace Combat.

Reason for Ace Combat is because I simply grew up with it, and I still miss the universe it was set in.

I don't mind platform exclusivity (I'm a big fan of Nintendo games), what I don't like are timed exclusives and I especially dislike when a game originally made for the PC gets delayed so that the console release can be a timed exclusive.
