Platform Float bug - please add to my issue tracker listing

Hi all, I have just submitted an issue tracker report for the platform float enrichments not working. I know this has been mentioned on the forums before and it has been put in the issue tracker before but the listing expired without many people actually adding to it and the issue isn't in their confirmed or confirming list. I know many people dislike or cant use the issue tracker but if anyone is experiencing this bug it would be good to get it officially on the list and the way to do that is by adding your contribution.

Would also be good if any of the community managers can confirm if this is a bug the developer team are aware of and working on or not. I think it was introduced several patches ago. I know the dev team dowork on bugs that aren't always confimed in the issue tracker so they may already be working on this one.

Please note this is different to the swimming through barriers bug and doesn't seem to be related to the navigation issues or the game not-registering deep water in the enclosure. This is just that the platform itself says there is not enough deep water when there clearly is (see image) and so the animals never use it.

Does it also not work when you move it more to the center of the water? These platforms require a lot of deep water around them.

Hi Karen, no as you can see from the picture I get the error message in any size body of water. That was 17m deep and a couple of thousand meters square with nothing else in there and it still gave the error

This has been a prevailing bug since one of the first hotfix patches after the Aquatic Patch launched. I can't pinpoint which one exactly but it worked fine at launch and then some time afterwards it stopped working and has never been fixed.
 
Thanks so much both. If anyone else is experiencing this bug then please do add a brief contribution to the issue tracker report and make sure you tick the can replicate button. I think we need at least one more person to verify the issue before it will be officially confirmed. So if you have a chance to check and you've got two minutes then please do!
