Newcomer / Intro Platinum Hotspots

Hi all

I am mining in a Platinum hotspot but all I can find are cores, is this normal as I cannot find any to mine with lasers.

Am I doing it wrong?

What you get in the hot spot depends on the ring you are in. If you are in a metal rich, try a metallic ring.
