Platinum Trophy?

Yes - I think it was called 'Right on commander'.

Don't think it will be easy - i.e. kill 100 elite rated ships, win 25 cqc games, etc ....

Great thing about this is it will lead people to try all gameplay types in the game.

Some of the requirements are beastly

Also, if you want a Platinum trophy then be prepared for a long flight to Sagittarius A

I know! I won't be bothering. I've never been a trophy hunter and although I did get Platinum on FO4 because I really loved that game there's a ton of stuff I saw that just wouldn't be fun for me.

I don't mind being pew-pewed by Ed for his though =]

Most of the trophies were doable with time.

I remember a time when Platinum trophy was the last trophy of a game-set and only achieved if you did everything else first.
Frontier have fallen foul of splitting the game into 1.x base game and 2.x Horizons upgrade.
This means that the platinum only requires you to complete the game aspects that 1.x game players access.
There are 2.x related trophies but they don't build towards the platinum.

My biggest issue / concern is the grouping trophies. In particular the Multi-crew gunner trophy and the wingman trophies.
As much as I like human contact, I can see problems trying to group up in the various configurations needed for the trophies and see these being the hardest to get.

Mining 1000 tonnes of element x from planet y or travel to see star system A, B or C is something that I can do with enough time. Grouping up requires other people to want to be available to allow me to achieve my trophy.

Prepare to see a multitude of 'Looking for Group / Looking for wing / Looking for multicrew' threads where people try to team up on the console.

That´s marvelous, I have spent 900 hours on pc, and now I want to share this experience with my friends on PS4. I have already made the trip to Sagitarius and to Colonia (before there were stations between bubble and EOL-PROU) and its something that you have to do just to enjoy it.

That platinum will be mine (with time, of course). This seems to be an "old-style" platinum, I remember when Platinum trophies were something that mean you have made everything that is possible in the game.
