So far, found that x and s plus , and . control direction. Space controls acceleration and a is fire.
F1 is rear view. F2 right, F3 left and F4 galactic chart. Then I was killed by some pirates or something.
Just had a good response from matt who runs that site:
F keys are various directions and star maps etc
A is fire
space and / are faster/slowed
T target missile, F fire
H hyperspace

Don't forget J for in-system jumping. You'll need that if you want to reach planets in a reasonable amount of time.

I had been playing Elite Plus on the ole' DosBox, but good to see it's predecessors!
I still secretly think the Load Screen for Elite: Dangerous should be just like the original! With floating / rotating updated ships, of course!

This,.... and its damn easy moddable, check all the OXPs.
Still got Oolite on this machine along with 50+ oxp's, had some fun with that one and currently rated Dangerous. Always recommend people try Oolite if they are undecided about ED and try to make sure they add some oxp's to up the graphics a bit as vanilla Oolite is like the illegitimate child of Elite but still very playable imo.
