Play with friends.

Hi, what I have to do, to play with friends together so I can see my friend (maybe in supercruise, too)?
I add him in the main menu, and then what do I have to play? Is Open Play enough? I heard there are problems.
And what do I have to do, so he supercruises with me together to battles or hyperdrives with me?

If you're friends and in a group you will probably get put in the same instance. So you will see each other in the fixed locations like planets, stations, resource areas, conflict zones and SC'ing in the same area.

Drive slaving has not been implemented so you can't jump together. USS are your own little world at the moment (I believe).

you can create a private group and get your friend to join it, though it will only be you two in that group until you have others request to join the group.

there is a sub forum for groups if your interested in joining others.
