Player Anacondas in the conflict zones.

Surprise, Surprise...

Few days after many of the founders were using exploits to generate millions of credits, there's anacondas in the conflict zones.

Couldn't be any more obvious where they got the credits to buy those.

Yes, Yes, sure, we're really supposed to get an Elite combat rating for the 'Race to Elite' competition, but we have players cheating their way to anacondas kill stealing in conflict zone.

This really is a joke!

Fly out of the conflict zone, find another one and have fun. There's 400 billion or so systems out there to play in. Just saying.

Not easy to get to different conflict zones in a viper.

How about instead of me moving somewhere else to get away from cheats, FD does something about the cheats?

They did say they will be dealing with the founders world exploiters on a case by case basis starting tomorrow.

That said don't assume every Conda you see is the result of exploitation. Its very possible to have attained that by now if you knew what you were doing and had a lot of hours to play.

^^ This ^^

I've been playing since Gamma launched and tonight, finally, I purchased an anaconda. I know of at least 4 other gamma players that have one and others who are getting very close.

They can audit me all they want, my anaconda is a keeper :)

..

Anyone who cheated cannot be part of the race, just so you know. Unless they reset of course.
Also, not all 'condas are cheats, some of us were about in Gamma and others started in cobras - so quite a few people are there now.

At least conflict zone reproduce - what bothers me is what can/will be taken away from 'Real' Explorer's - Once a system is explored the first time - well you get the idea !!

I don't understand the problem?

Why didn't you pop him, if you were on the other side?

Or jack his kills if you were on the same side? ^^

Anyone that was in gamma could have easily had an anaconda. Before rares were "limited" it was quite easy to make money. There was no reset at launch and they had them decked out with many other ships on day 1. Anyone that did it by a bug got adjusted. Most I suspect are totally legit.

So shoot them... If they are kill stealing that implies front loaded weapons since you can't easily thief kills with a couple of pishy turrets. Plus if they exploited as you said, they probably won't know how to react to you sticking behind them. Each percent of hull is a hefty cost for them that outweighs cash they get from stealing. Alternatively, choose another conflict zone :)

I was making about 550k-600k per run with rares in Gamma - that run was normally about 1.5-2hrs, but that was mainly because I would explore all unexplored systems on my way. I could easily have done that trip 20-30 mins each way, and be making about 1.2m/hr - that was in a Cobra with 36t of Cargo. I was never overly motivated by the cash, so didn't do it too many times, as I actually thought the "explore whilst trading" was what made it fun (usually another 20-40k in exploration data), and I'll probably go back to rares trading for this alone - ie, a fun way to trade. I find regular trading quite boring,as it required me to sit down with pens, paper, make spreadsheets - I do this for work already, I don't want to do it for a game. If there were good in game tools for trade, that let me store trade data from systems I have visited, without having to use pen and paper and spreadsheets, I'd probably get into it. I don't mind analysing, I just hate data entry.

But I digress, my point is, I could make a lot in "just" Cobra trading rares back in Gamma, in fact, it took two trips in a hauler to make the cash for the Cobra, and kit it out in a reasonable way. Making enough for a T6, then T9 would have been easy - the 2 or so weeks we had in Gamma would be plenty of time for someone with lots of time on their hands.

Whilst "I" wasn't so much in it for the money (more of a bonus), I'm sure others were, and could quite legitimately made enough (or close to) to buy an Anaconda.

Still good money to be made in rares, too, with the smaller ships at least.

I have more than enough to purchase an Anaconda, but at this stage don't see the purpose of the ship yet. It doesn't hold as much cargo as the Type 9 im flying so i will continue using the Lakon to make more millions.

I wish people wouldn't keep making assumptions that every player that has better than themselves has to be an exploiter. I made my money with hard grinding now im making 4 million per hour. (Gamma player) Sitting pretty :D

Also been playing exclusively in 'OPEN' mode. Never played 'solo' (easy mode).
