How about a player barter system? Trade (or even outright purchase from each other) materials, data, commodities, modules, ships, blueprints, etc.

I'm all for it as long as the trade system guards against real money trading and the follow-on bots and macros. Blizzard got rid of their Auction House in Diablo--this move solved a lot of problems.
Just no. I would love this concept, but there is a near zero probability of actually preventing the game from degenerating into RL profiteering. So I gotta say hellz no.
