Currently, we can only flip on the wing beacon, in wings. Obviously.
What if we could activate the beacon, and then choose to share that with friends and other CMDRs we're in contact with?
I'm thinking something along the lines of selecting a CMDR from the comms (either a friend, local CMDR, or contact history) panel, and have a new option "Share Beacon Signal".
If you share, and they accept, they can drop in on you, the same as wings can.
You can cancel at any time.
It'd be handy for forming fleets, or organising events in certain locations, or simply just a way to let that fuel rat know where you are.
