Ok I have played since early beta but have never even looked at much less wondered what the block button was. So I keep hearing or reading I should say people telling others to player block them. So my question is... What is the blocking actually? I assumed it was just to block communication. Is it really to block another player completely from even being seen by you or you by him in game?

as i understand it, it lets you block them from being in your instance while you play in open.
Wow that's another way for players to avoid playing online while online lol."aaahhhh that dang pirate again" well just block him and his buddies ok safe route again lol. I can see it being good for REAL grievers though.
