Player Faction list?

I have been looking all over the forums and threads, and I cannot seem to find a list of approved player factions, or even a list of player factions itself.

Does such a thread exist?

There's an old list, but it hasn't been updated since August of 2015.

Inara and eddb have lists, but only those that are entered there show up. There doesn't seem to be a definitive updated list anywhere at the moment.

Me and some people submitted a group and minor faction applications, and since they do not do email responses, we were looking for a list to see when factions get put in.

as you can see from the thread linked above, that can go fast or take a lot of time (several months).
