Newcomer / Intro player faction taking control of a station

hi,

i´m with a player minor faction and we take over a system with 3 stations and 4 outpost´s, before the war we (player faction) were at a planetary base, and after the war we take control of one station.
my question is, how can we take the controll of the stations? is it even possible?

Each station / asset = one war won against the asset controller.
