PvP Player Fired On My Ship

So I was trying to get some reputation with the Sirius Corporation in order to be able to meet with an Engineer.

I'm minding my own business in my little Sidewinder when a player comes barreling onto my screen in an engineered Courier and starts talking about how this part of the galaxy belongs to him and "his boys". I thought he was going to help me fight pirates but instead he fired missiles at me, and even a rail gun I think, but it was hard to tell with the tears flooding my eyes because of the betrayal and all. Now I kind of expect an attack every here and again but he uses this fake English accent when mocking you on voice comms and that is just upsetting to the max - probably the most distressing encounter in this game to date.

Plus, he spends all of his time scooping garbage instead of helping you kill pirates.
I'm still shaking and I'm not sure what to do about it. Advice needed.

You should either go to solo or join a private group. Unless you have another engineered ship for going back there and facing him properly.

May I suggest you join Buttercups Anonymous? They have a wonderful 12 step program that is very informative, inspiring and life changing. Confront your cowardice, be proud to run away, take a barrage of torps like a real woman, learn effective and ingenious joyful retaliation. @Wargfoot So the player joined you in a wing and voice chat to make ownership claims about a sector then later opened fire on you.
I understand this feels like betrayal which is not fun in game or real life. The effects are the same.
But try to file this under a intense role-play experience. You encountered a space thug who threatened you to leave his turf, instead of complying you where gunned down.
Im just impressed he even opened comms with you, most out to attack players blindly do not get any forewarning or notice. Because of the fact this pilot took the time out to explain his motives, and demands you leave the system. Leads me to believe he was playing a role of "the bad guy". Sure maybe he took it to far or lead you into a trap by pretending to befriend you before the betrayal.

Best advice i can give is try to picture it as a film or book, your pilot (not you) just had a run in with some nasty space thugs, who took advantage of your comanders situation and blew up his or her ship, Your pilot lost some credits in the rebuy but is still alive and has grown wiser to these situations. Its a dangerous place in the black, trust is earned not assumed.

I may have faced this same courier around Jameson's this weekend. There were 2 of these guys torping CMDRs but not in a wing, strangely enough. They fire torps at me, I see "torpedo" warning, boost in the other direction for about 2 mins, come back around and get in a shoot-em-up around the station for about 10 mins. So boring I didn't bother to save the video.

Ok, so it was my alt that Wargfoot was talking about - except the original post was supposed to read as a bit of fun but came across all wrong.
My original reply was moderated (and got both me & Wargfoot slapped wrists :) ) which was sad as it was equally pathetic :devilish:

So, sorry @Krash , it is not me who has been giving anyone else grief.

Meeting him in-game for the first time, after so many fun posts on here, was equally fun - although he did get miffed by my collecting mats in the Haz Res - my alt is very short of stuff...

Sadly I can't have a seperate account here for my alt - it would have been much more fun to RP in his name. (odd as the alt account is on a totally different email account to this)

@Feros-da-Grundig & @VanWrinkle both cottoned on it was a spoof post....

C'mon Arry... a Courier is not that big a ship...
