Player mobility if/when Space Legs happens

I am one of the many Players who use VR (I have the Oculus Rift CV1 with the Touch Controllers). I also fly my vessels using a HOTAS (X52 Pro). I did try the Touch controllers within the Game, but (for vessel control) they were way too limited. What I am suggesting (if it is possible) is this;

When Space Legs becomes a reality, there would be (within the Controls menu) a separate option of controller for the Avatar (as opposed to the ships and SRVs). Using the Rift CV1 and X52 Pro as an example, there would be three options available. These would be; "Keyboard/Mouse", "Saitek X52 Pro", and "Touch". Assuming a Player selected the "Touch" controller option, they would manoeuvre around in a way similar to "Robo Recall" when they were 'walking' around, but when they 'sat down' in their vessel the HOTAS would be the controller.

I thought I was posting in the 'Beyond' section.

The Beyond Focused Feedback section is currently for Engineers. I've moved the threads to suggestions, as we need to keep that section strictly on topic.

Also, there's been no mention of "space legs" being in Beyond anyway :D

Thank you, Ozric. I was not sure WHEN (or if) Space Legs would happen, but I do feel that using the VR hand controllers (assuming no major technical issues) could make the Space Legs experience FAR more immersive. If you have the chance to try Robo Recall you will see why I believe this.

Considering I suffer from motion sickness and lasted 2 minutes the last time I tried Elite in VR, I think I'll pass thanks :p

OUCH!!! I find that, when driving the SRV, I can start to feel motion sick (so I have to be careful), but I cannot now play the Game in any other way.
