Player-Player Interaction

For starters, we could use the basics from MMO's, like an "auction house", the ability to trade and send stuff and money between players, etc.

And what about guilds (or whatever name you prefer)? Why not have a guild mechanic, and integrate that with the existing factions mechanic? E.g. a guild would have a reputation/relation with other factions, and could assume loyalty to any faction it preferred.

You could also expand the Wings mechanic to include a raid mechanic.

That's what I have atm, will update if I come up with more.
 
I really like your ideas! Maybe for trading, both players would have to be at a station so that the goods could be transported.

I've mentioned it in another thread, but I notice that many of the times I come across other players, they don't respond to my chat messages, even when they are simple hello's. It makes it feel much more lonely :(
