Player set bounties

Hi

For those pvp players that want more players in open how about a player set bounties for those players killed by another player.

A player who is killed in game by another player can go to a station and set a bounty for a player that killed them. This bounty can be set for millions and would allow trading players away to attack those that stole from them and or killed them. It will not stop pvp kills, but would make pvp killing costly for them. This process can only be triggered if a crime is commented against you and also a limit should be set on the crimes.

Stealing = 1mil + the value of goods stolen
Killing = Value of ship + the value of goods stolen + 15Mil (updated)
Minor crimes = no bounties

If this game is the wild west then allow us to take out bounties and make bounty hunters a player service.

This game needs to be about player services and paying other players for missions and bounty hunting should be the focus of the game. At the moment there are players with millions of credits and we can 't use them to protect ourselves with them.

Now there is a one problem with this players with alt accounts could destroy there other account ship to gain the credits. However this maybe a mute topic once we find out want frontier have in mind for the new crime and punishment.

Just an idea

Killing = 15M? Surely you mean the value of the ship + value of cargo + 15M... To be paid out of the killers funds when claimed.

There has always been controversy over player set bounties, one of the big issues is that by gaming the system it allows for the transfer of large amounts of money between players, thus avoiding the desires of the dev's to avoid a player market due to the ability of players to game the market and produce undesired results. If you could come up with a system that didn't allow the easy transfer of money between players it might be considered I suppose.

They need to choose if it's a game or a simulation. This middle ground is killing interactions and making Frontier look stupid.
