Players characters background

What ?

• Being able to write a background for our character and also being able to see other commanders background.

How ?

• To see, write and edit your background:

1. Open the CODEX located in the right panel.
2. Click on your COMMANDER.
3. Then, I was thinking about a new section below 'ARCHIVE' called 'MY STORY' or 'WHO AM I?', something like that:

• To see other commanders background:

1. Open the comms panel
2. Select a commander
3. Maybe something like 'Show background' or 'Who am I ?'

• To increase the immersion and roleplay experience.

Yep. A basic character summary I thought would be good with a word limit, no ad hyperlinks etc but perhaps just a few radio buttons for indicating your gaming style / preference too etc. Maybe an optional profile pic too? Just conscious if it were left too open it might be a seed for use / abuse like we sometimes see in broader social networking.

It's a great idea but yes it is clearly open for abuse.

I take it you use Inara already? If not get over there.
