Yes this game has it's immature idiots and there's pleanty of other posts about them. What I want to hear are your stories of awesome player encounters that you won't forget.

For instance, last night I was out pirating. Pull over a python with my usual catch phrase and proceed to scan him. He is carying 4 tons of fruits and vegetables.....wth???
He responds with " oh no a pirate! Please sir I have to get this food to the starving children of bacon port" ( I love it when victims Roleplay too)
Me: You see, that's what I want to talk to you about. We pirates often suffer from a disease called scurvy. It's caused by a deficiency in vitamin c. You wouldn't happen to have a lime or 2 on board would you?
Him: I suppose if I'm running around helping children I can't ignore pirates in need. ( drops the fruit and vegetables)
Me: Thank you sir this should clear my scurvy up right nice.
Him: You might want to check your diet. Cant be all rum and wenches.
Me: Yeah, wish ma' woulda preached the whole fruits and veggies more.
Travel safe, and be ware, I hear there's unsavory folks about.

You never know what type of cmdr you are going to come across. You really have to appreciate the interesting ones!

Great story, and I very much agree!

I engaged an enemy commander in a conflict zone last night. I normally avoid pvp as I have very poor reaction times but we started our dance of death and fought angrily. I managed to come out on top; it was my first proper kill in pvp.

On the way back to rearm I saw the pilot entering supercruise and said "Good game", he saluted back, I bade him safe travels and he returned the sentiment.

It was a pleasant outcome to a violent exchange and reminded me of just how important the behaviour of players is when it comes to the quality of the game experience.

Pirating the wolf 406 CG last night with another CMDR was great fun. First off I took on an orca! And got paid. Then we hit a t7 together and was great role play from both sides of the fence.
Then before my internet decided to give up we took on an annaconda, both expecting to have to run.. (Me in an asp other CMDR in a mkIII) again amazing role play by the 'conda pilot +1 if I could.

Also so had a fight for shields against an FDL that lasted exactly 1 shot from the FDL, very friendly pilot and I now know not to mess with a kitted up FDL :)


all all evening was amazing CMDRS at every turn. Loving my partner in crime rodrieguez, the old sea dog.

I think ink most of the bell ends have moved on and the game is settling down into a great community of open players.

Got a random comm link call from a bounty hunter in a Cobra trying to form a wing to take down a wanted Anaconda commander. He went for the interdiction as bait (easy kill for the 'conda), and after we (two Pythons) jumped in, the criminal tried to hightail it. He had no chance though, and blew up into a glorious display of metal confetti, and the three of us shared a bounty of over 40k each. The Cobra pilot was on voice comm and was over the moon at how the plan worked out :)

Haha that was me! Commander Obtuse. 1st time I was ever interdicted by a real pirate, thank you for making it awesome +rep, dang I coulda swore I took screen shots of the exchange, but their not showing in my folder. Ah well he has it right word for word, it was an excellent time. Too bad you didn't catch me coming out, I was about to buy some 272t of palladium, maybe next time eh? :D

Take a lesson here guys, its much more fun when you engage with other players, than just shooting them straight out of the sky with no pretext.

Hmmmm I thought the amazing flight model made the game. I have no interest in interacting with players 90% of the time.

I had a wonderfully cagey conversation between myself in an Asp and another Asp pilot. We were both doing rares runs, and both thought the other might be a pirate. After a bit of "so, what are YOU doing here?" and some very evasive SC/thrusting, we realised we were both too nice and chatted about the Asp for a bit then headed off on our merry way. :)

Apart from the rammers around the Lave/Diso/Leesit area (hey, Python dude, could you hit water if you fell out of a boat?) everyone I've met has been really awesome in-game. :)

Ah well, that a good 6 minutes per hour when you want to chat, interdict and be rammed. Nice! Welcome to Open. Everyone welcome. :D

o7 Great pirating, I tried to fight the interdiction, but I'm just not used to the way the Python handles yet (just got her from the recent discount at Zoance) I had a lot of fun, and I definitely look forward to being properly pirated again! :D

Nah the scurvey has been cleared up, lesson learned! It did take its toll however. I lost 4 teeth. But that gave me an idea. Many of my ....associates suffer from the same problem. I'm thinking about getting out of this line of work and into something more....legit. A pirate Periodontist! If only I had enough palladium for that many fillings.......

Luck you, I had some doorknob kill me over cross fire. Put a damper on the rest of the Sobek boys CG for me. It's okay, if I ever see him in game, my new game play personal goal is to completely ruin his gaming experience.

Players can also break the game too.
