Playing E:D - which laptop to look for?

I previously posted a thread about issues with the GFX capabilities of my NUC Skull Canyon which seems to have a GPU that is above the minimum requirements but turns out to throw a "A file has failed to load after multiple attempts as Direct3D cannot lock a buffer." error. The solution was to sign up for GeForceNow which has worked perfectly.

Now I am going to look for a new work laptop which will double as a stationary PC when I'm at home, connected to a monitor and keyboard.
The har part is knowing which GPU to look for. I'm not going to buy a gamer laptop but at reasonable priced work laptop, but I want it to be able to run at least E:D.
Any suggestion for either a laptop or at least how to make sure the GPU can handle it?

With regard to the GPU, the minimum for me would be a GTX 1050 Ti 4GB. That should play high/ultra at 60fps in most circumstances.

You will be able to play at 1080p/ultra/60fps locked with GTX 1060 6GB MaxQ, which is the next GPU up in the series.

GPUs below a 1050 Ti will be able to play the game, but you will need to make compromises on resolution, texture details, shadows and terrain work. A GTX 960m, for instance, will probably force you to play the game at 720p.
