I previously posted a thread about issues with the GFX capabilities of my NUC Skull Canyon which seems to have a GPU that is above the minimum requirements but turns out to throw a "A file has failed to load after multiple attempts as Direct3D cannot lock a buffer." error. The solution was to sign up for GeForceNow which has worked perfectly.
Now I am going to look for a new work laptop which will double as a stationary PC when I'm at home, connected to a monitor and keyboard.
The har part is knowing which GPU to look for. I'm not going to buy a gamer laptop but at reasonable priced work laptop, but I want it to be able to run at least E
.
Any suggestion for either a laptop or at least how to make sure the GPU can handle it?
