Playing elite dangerous on two computers on same network

please I need help, playing with my son on two computers on same network in private session sometimes cannot see each other, then do a hyperjump then we can for a while then happens again, read about port forwarding to set our computers different ports, any help would be appreciated, thanks

I take it you are winged up and have your wing beacons on.

I often run my two accounts together in the same room, connected to the interweb via ethernet, with no problems.

i use my 2nd pc as crew for the camera, never had issues
sounds like a P2P fault, You could check/try UPNP and IPv6

Yes, I also play often with two computers on my network and have never had an issue instancing, PG or Open Play.

If you think it may be network related, could one of you set up one of the very many Free VPN's and play as if you where on a separate network?

???? I don't have an issue? I always use a private Proxy server as i am paranoid about tracking!!
