I will soon leave for a business trip which ends in China, I have heard about the restrictions for chinese internet, and that even some of the mmorpg I play (EVE Online, WoW) might be restricted. Since I am kind of insomniac and love to play myself to bed (sounds bad...) I was wondering if I can use VPN for playing online games from China. I currently use https://www.bestvpnservicemag.com/ipvanish-vpn-review/ to avoid some other country restrictions and am pretty happy about it, but wondered if it will work when im in China, and if not, do you have any other VPN to recommend?

I use AirVPN, it's great for normal use but no idea about China - according to that link it can be worked around though.

I'm going to say that you'll be lucky if it's as easy as using a standard VPN. Greycoder says that all VPNs are blocked although some use masking techniques to hide themselves - http://www.greycoder.com/best-vpn-china/
