Playing using a 256mb graphics card

I heard about this game after searching on YouTube for space games, i have played elite 2 and 3 and thought they where the best space games so I paid and backed the beta not knowing if I could actually play the game on my rig,
as the minimum specs are 1gb graphics card and yes I have to put the resolution to 800x600 and everything is on low but I can play it and its smooth enough for me to play and enjoy, I have hauler and 50.000cr and I can dock without a docking computer.
And my point ------ Thanx for making the BEST game I have ever played

cpu - Core2quad
Gfx card - Radeon HD2400 pro 256mb
Ram - 4gb

Your graphics card must be on conventional PCI bus. Perhaps you can find of graphics cards (new or used) cheap on PCI bus. HD series 4 or later ? With 1 GB memory ? And welcome to the great family of the Elite, Commander !
