Playing with Freinds

Ive searched all over Google and These Forums, and for the life of me, I cant find anything that explains how to find each other in the ED universe and do stuff together.

Me and a Friend just bought the game, and cannot find each other, Different instances or something like that im guessing.

Can anyone please give me directions on how to play with a friend in ED?

or is this just not possible right now?

Difficult at this time. But later you will be able, to create of groups of friends to play together

David had said that people of same group, could come together in hyperspace to go in the same stellar system. You can make a tour in the DDA. You will find a thread on this subject, certainly. http://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=6300

Whenever you start the client, you should see Server:xx.xxx.xxx.xxx:xxxxx. This is randomly allocated and is often changed when the client is restarted. As long as you and your friend have the same server info, you'll most likely be put into the same instance when you meet in the same geographical location.
