Though everone scoffed at me; My prediction of a new ps5 for xmas 5 months ago, is becoming a fact.
I seem to recall you saying it's release could be 2018. Yes I scoffed. 2019 or 2020 is more reasonable.![]()
The ps4 came out in 2013, 2018 would make it five years old. I'm hoping the 5 in addition to being just a number that follow 4, also applies to the fifth year since the 4 became a thing. I mean the ps4 pro should have been named the ps5, why wasn't it? I know we will have to just wait and see, but I'm hopping it's not an whole extra year longer.
Some devolpers already have it available, and as always, a new counsil will hve a few games ready to be played on a new console. And in so much as the 5 allows one to play ps3's and 4's tiltles. One can buy it, utilize it post haste. Thus xmas this year, "MAY" be the the release date.
Snicker's Bar's for everyone if I'm incorrect. But if I am, I want Snicker's Bars from everyone. LOL
I'm with Stormy on release date, because AAA games can take YEARS to develop, so Naughty Dog isn't going to whip together the next Uncharted / Last Of Us in just a few months.
No snickers bars on Nemo then.

The end of the PS4 life-cycle has been trending on Twitter (at least my feed), and there are some new evidence of PS5 development in the works. I thought this might be the year when I upgrade to PS4 Pro, but now I'm not so sure...
I waited until the PS4 Slim was released before upgrading from my PS3, as I traditionally wait for new consoles to mature before investing in them. The difference now is that the PS5 will use a similar, albeit more powerful architecture to the PS4. If the PS5 is backwards compatible with PS4 games, that changes things IMO. Having recently invested in PSVR, I also hope that PS5 is compatible with this technology. Anybody have scuttlebutt regarding backwards compatibility?
Ahh so that's why you were asking about Pro, do it.![]()
