Parks Pleasant Valley Resort

Decided to start a new park with the release of the new alpha. Spent a bit playing around and then came up with an idea to make a resort based park, taking inspiration from Universal Studios. Restaurants, shopping, and hotels will branch off from the left and right sides of the entrance with the main park being straight as you walk in. Enjoy your stay!

A wild hotel appears!

First hotel is finished...until I can figure out a way to add poolside furniture. Featuring 68 rooms and 4 suites, a private garden, a pool and 2 spas, and a terraced bar, there is something for everyone to kick back and relax.

Welcome to the hotel!

Any suggestions on a name?

Started to expand the entrance area a little bit. It took forever (~3 hours) to try to figure out how to get flat bridges to work. It seriously should not be this hard. Here's the result:

Also added in a covered seating area as well after the gate:

And now please tell us how you did that with the flat bridges?
Iam alwayse die trying -.-

your screens and your park so far looks great!

Thanks!

On the bridge, I was able to get 1 side to come out flat from the land by giving the area around the path some flat ground to work with. I then extended out the paths to where I wanted to connect them on the other side and tried to get them to connect. The large middle one connected without too much problem, but I couldn't get the side ones to connect. I think I ended up extending the paths from land to get the ground requirement happy, then deleted the paths and then placed them down again from the water side.

Update: The first coaster!

It has been a while, but I haven't given up yet! Life has been a little busy lately but I finally found some time this week to sit down and work on the park. I decided to try out the single rail coaster and ended up placing about 2k rocks as a result. I think it looks pretty cool, but see for yourself:

This park is super great and realistic, love the amount of detail that have been put in the entrance and hotel.

I really love the way this coaster (type) track looks and feels. Especially as it makes it way through scenery. Nice coaster BTW. I need to build me one with this type.

Update: A Launch Coaster

Thanks all for the kind words!

I enjoyed placing all those rocks before so much I decided to add more! I originally planned to make an Expedition Everest/Big Thunder Mountain Railroad inspired rollercoaster, but after finishing the mountain, I didn't like how it looked so I removed it and went with something a bit more developer friendly.

Update Time

I'm glad you guys like rocks, because I added more :)

Decided to round out the western area with a mine train coaster. Which meant a lot more rocks to make the mountain and surrounding area. My computer is definitely starting to feel the pain. Anyways, here's some pictures :)

First thing you see as you walk towards western land (and an entrance for the area).
