Please add a tolerance for SRV repeaters vs. mats

I am finding a particular collision issue over and over while gathering mats in the SRV. Some material conglomerations "sink" into the rocks they attach to, and cannot be hit with the repeater from any angle even though shots are definitely connecting. There needs to be a tolerance added for SRV shots, so when the shot hits a point, it "hits" any mat within a small radius of that point. Voila, no more stuck/invincible mats.

It would also be nice if anything shootable yielded at least ONE material. If there is a crystalline cluster there, then there should be SOMETHING to gather when I shoot it.

These changes would make the SRV mechanics feel less janky.

It's a bug/glitch. I've seen those more than I'd like. Although, if I recall correctly, they are limited to those lava spout/geysir looking thingies. The "hitbox" where the reticule locks into is underground and no matter how much I fire upon it, nothing happens.

Sounds like a bug. Bug report it. Or else you're just not using the turret when you need to
It is a bug kinda, but it happens very frequently. It's a spacial error of mesh placement. I always use the turret to shoot mats, the auto aim in drive mode is horrible.

I'm not sure it makes sense to bug report this though, at least not specific instances since they happen everywhere. The item generation/placement needs to be tweaked, or the shot tolerance improved.

Some area of effect for repeaters would be great, really. When the smallest piece of rock stops the huge gun and you need to drive all around the damn rock to shoot at that crystal, just to find out you'll need to hover the SRV...

It would also hugely help with powering the Guardian pilons, those can be an ammo sink without comparison.
