I am going to take this 'Religion in Space' a lot further. I do not know how many religions there are, although I know there a lot. I also know that there are differences of opinion, not just between religions but between differing factions of the same religion (I am not going to name religions as I have no wish to offend any believers of any religions). What I would hope is that, in the future, 2 things are agreed by all of the religious authorities (even if they at 'war' with each other). The first would be that all space platforms (regardless of ownership) are considered neutral grounds where no conflicts are permitted to happen (and any person committing a violent act for religious reasons on a platform would not only be cast out of that religion, so would all their family, as they would be considered to have endangered the right for that religion to practise its beliefs. This would be made VERY clear by all religious 'teachers'.), while the second would allow those who normally have to pray towards a specific point in space to be permitted just to pray, as on those stations with a rotational movement would prevent 'aimed' praying from being possible.
As to areas whereby faithful could pray, on some platforms space would be very hard to come by, so people would have to find whatever space they could find. However, on larger platforms it might be possible to set aside a reasonable amount of space where those who wish to pray can. This area would not have any religious objects (to prevent causing any offense to others), and would be painted in peaceful neutral colours. In times of major crises these areas might be used to support medical facilities, and I doubt any religion would have serious problems with this, as this could be perceived as a charitable act, allowing those in need to be supported.
I hope that what I have written is acceptable, and has not caused anybody any offense. Be at peace.
