basically what title says. im so fed up with watching rides get abandoned because the second staff is wandering around somewhere at the other end of my staff zone. is it realy that hard to code in the staff to go wait for their work time right next to their workplace? i have their work plan set up fairly logic. i have operator A starting at 8am in the morning, working till 2pm, then operator B takes over from 2pm till 4 pm and then operator A comes back to take over. so theres 3 hours where operator B has time to do his break and get back to his workplace yet they NEVER manage to arrive in time. none of them on none of my rides.
janitors are also still getting stuck in random places. mostly ive noticed this now with restaurants. janitors also ignore trash thats right next to them. whats the point of having table A and B dirty, have Staff 1 come in walk by table B to go clean Table A only to see Staff 2 come in 5 mins later to clean Table B? sorry but this isnt how its supposed to work in my opinion. let us assign a janitor directly to that restaurant or improve on their tasklists and priorities. if a janitors is close to some trash he should get assigned to clean it, not walk by it and leave it for janitor thats 10 minutes away.
and yes i have only 4 staff zones that are split like my themed areas, so the staff zones are very big. still i think we shouldnt be forced to create a new staff zone for each corner of our park. still i think that rides should NEVER ever be left alone, especially with guests still on the ride. the line between realism and fun and enganging gameplay is very fine, i understand its hard to balance that. but not letting us place launch tracks steeper than 90 degrees, because realism (i guess, not sure why that limitation though), but then make staff abandone rides is just not right in my opinion.
many of these issues have been brought up a lot of times by different users. theres been not only forum posts but also reported on the issue tracker. yet i dont feel like we have ever seen any major improvements to fix these issues. thats after 7 months of release. please frontier, take your time if needed but i beg you to please look into these issues. for me personally, these are issues that i consider gamebreaking. i constantly see myself dealing with these issues that i cant control directly. id rather have to deal with coaster breakdowns or staff not beeing happy instead of bugs and "bad" game mechanics
