Please allow the Multi-crew Gunner to be able to sub-target Thargoid Hearts.

I understand that a multi-crew gunner can't sub-target systems due to 'Balance' Issues against other Human Ships. However, I would suggest that an exception be made to allow the hearts of Thargoid vessels to be targeted.

Even if it's only AX weapons that can sub-target, it would be a boost to multi-crew against the thargoids. Ships ranging from the Cobra Mk III to the T-10 would be be far more effective.

Like this idea a lot. There is certainly more need for userful multi-crew content, and it would be nice to be able to bring people along on a Thargoid run so they can learn the mechanics from the co-pilot's seat.

I've just found out that there are some weapons ( Guardian Plasma, Flak and Flachette Turrets) that can only be used in multi-crew. If these are to be any use against Thargoids, surely them must be allowed to target their hearts.

I say allow the gunner target subsystems, period. Balance issues be damned. That feature needs all the help it can get. I'm not sure but I think the gunner also can't target the Thargons, making turreted flak entirely pointless.

I agree, the fact that multicrew is so under utilized because of all these artifical limitations put on it. I mean you can't even multi-crew SRV for pete sakes.

Not to mention the fact they need to bring the NPC crew system in line with multi-crew so it makes sense.

I didn't know you couldn't sub-target as gunner...because I've yet to use multi-crew for anything, given its state.

In all seriousness though, that's just dumb. Balanced be damned indeed - the whole point of multi-crew is to be stronger, right? I mean, PvP is already lopsided in design...what the heck difference does it make with multi-crew?

Coming from a self-identified carebear in Open, personally I'd prefer it because dodging one of the s is a lot easier than three. I WANT multi-crew to be fun. It makes my life EASIER. =)
