Please big Map sizes

A lot of us remember about the tiny SimCity 5 (SimCity 2013) maps. I believe for that reason the whole SimCity franchise failed. Other Games like Cities: Skylines took the place of SimCity.
Please do not commit the same mistake with Planet Zoo. I write that because the maps of JWE were pretty small too.

With new animal DLC's I'm sure we need more place for the habitats. Please keep this in mind when you determining the map size. More is more

The only way I'd entertain getting the game is if parks can be as big as Knowsley Safari park or something like that. I expect it will not be like that - but we'll see,

In the last official Planet Zoo youtube live stream, one dev commented that these maps were pretty big (since you can see only a portion of the zoo in the demo) and that the current biome map in the demo was one of many.

I bet this is something not to worry about, looking at the map sizes of Planco.

JWE is limited in map size because ...kuch .... consoles.

Comparing a game from EA with a game of frontier is comparing kindergarden with high school. Looking at the maps in Planco we will really not have anything to worry about. :)
JWE was limited because of consoles and franchise and what not.

No matter whether I'm comparing map sizes from EA with Frontier or City building maps with Park building maps. I mean the point is, that the maps must be provide enough space for our creativity. And again, I created this thread because the maps of JWE are very limited. I think it is a valid point and shouldn't be forgotten. Small maps are gamebrakers.

I agree, I found it very annoying that the islands in JWE where pretty big, but the buildable area is so small. It helps with the challenging aspect. But it also restricts creativity.

Having seen the beta maps, do we know roughly how big the maps will be? And do we know what it corresponds to in real life measurements?

They confirmed map size in Planet Zoo will be the exact same size then it is in Planet Coaster.

That was confirmed from developers. So JWE map size isn't representative.

I never used anywhere near the whole map in the scenario mode when playing the beta. It was quite large. If you managed to fill up the whole space you'd need to be pretty darn organized to keep it all running. I think you'll have plenty of room.
