Please bring back the old signs!

I don't know if you guys feel the same but I miss so much the old signs from the Alpha version. They were so cool and so well made that I wish we could have them in the game to put them on our rides. I know we have still some of the old signs (e.g. Power 360, radius) and most signs can be personalized, but they don't look as good as the ones Frontier did, specially the generic ones. Also some other props like the stars changed a lot too after they were tweaked to allow extra personalization.

Is there any chance we can get those back one day? Anyone else feels the same about this?

By the way, I can't stress enough that Frontier and Planet Coaster are Awesome!!!!

I don't see why it would be too difficult to add them back. I have seen multiple threads regarding this subject. So apparently there are plenty of folks who would like these restored to the game.

Would be nice to have an "official sign" for each of the flat rides in the game, just as it was in the early stages of the alpha phase. I do recall that "Spoiler Sam" mentioned in one of the latter streams that they stopped doing the signs as they realized most players made their own signs and they thought the development time were better spend in other areas.

I miss them too, they made nice ride signs even for coasters,

I'd love to have these back. Making custom signs takes a lot of time frankly and some people aren't that artistic. I am great at coasters and such but not so good at signs. There may be some in the workshop but I'd like to have a default sign for each ride so that when I'm doing parks and don't want to add a sign I can create a ride based on the sign.

I can understand that, guess that's why they ultimately gave us the 'Scenario Editor' too, but it would be nice if each Ride had at least one official signage from Frontier.

I for one have trouble designing signs in game. I guess I am just not that creative. These signs were kind of a life saver for me. I have mostly boring parks without signs. Please add these back.

Those are the new "old" rides signs. I would like to have the fancy ones back where the name was on. The old ones were so beautiful, but then they were thrown out like the old victory, the plastic walls (which i really miss too) and switched for flat, really cheap looking, signs in my opinion without name. I don't see the problem why we can't have both. They were in. They are done. Just call em 3D ridesign or whatever.

I really miss the old signs, especially those from Victory and Rocktopus. I don't understand why we can't have both. I do understand that getting new ones would take dev/artist time which could better be spend elsewhere but as the old signs already were in the game I don't think it would take much dev time at all to implement them back into the game.

Only reason I know why they are out of the game is that we can make our own signs with our own names which is great. But still I would like these signs back as I keep calling Rocktopus ... well, Rocktopus [big grin] Maybe the signs got redesigned because of FP-issues, the new ones seem not to be as detailed as the old ones.

I really hope we will get the old signs back but I understand if we don't get new ones with the names on it as it would take dev time.[big grin]

I frequently rename rides, so these would be useless to me . . . but when I don't, when they fit my theme, they'd be really cool to have. I get that they're part of an abandoned concept, but the work's already done, why can't we have 'em?

i agree, i have been asking myself this for my last 2 parks. every ride should have at least 1 pre-made sign for it. i like to sink the signs into the pathway in front of each entrance, but i can only do that for half the rides now. i also think all ride signs should be in 1 place, not some under 'building, and some under scenery. i also think there should be a 'favorites tab' for building and scenery. i would pay $10 just for that alone.

Oops you're right, my mistake. The old ones with the ride names kooks partely much better.

I have to agree with everyone above, I would love to see the old ride signs back! It saves us on pieces in our parks with the old signs because the ride names are already on the signs. Please bring them back into the game Frontier Devs.

The signs were so cool! The other benefit about having lots of signs like this is that you can use them with multiple rides and coasters and not necessarily the ones they are for. I just love the art style of Frontier!
