The infinitesimal module damage from the mild overheating you sustain with shield cell banks makes heat sinks useless. Get another shield booster in there. You won't even lose 1% hull from using 8 SCBs.

It isn;t the hull image, it is the MODULE damage that gets you with heat.
Not hard to do enough damage to get modules like chaff to malfunction.
